Johnny Depp Confirms Engagement to Young Amber Heard

For years Johnny Depp has been one of the hottest bachelors in Hollywood. Whether it is his quirky movie roles or dark, and handsome, features–the man has been a stalwart of the fantasy for the female persuasion. With that said, it seems like those fantasies might just be nearing their end.

Johnny Depp has been hitting the airwaves, and media tours, hard recently in preparation for his upcoming blockbuster film, “Transcendence”. “Transcendence” follows the rise, and fall, and rise again of Dr. Will Caster, played by Johnny Depp. The picture boasts a star studded cast that includes Emily Blunt, Paul Bettany, Cillian Murphy, and Morgan Freeman among its top billed performers. The film portrays Johnny Depp portraying an uncharacteristically dark character–a far cry from his run as Captain Jack Sparrow. However, even with this technological thriller on the horizon more fans seemed to be interested in the ring that seemed to appear on his finger over night.

Flashing a sporty new diamond engagement ring, one that he fondly referred to as a “chick’s ring”, Depp seemed ready to confirm the rumors of his engagement to 27 year old actress Amber Heard. Heard and Depp have been steaming up tabloid covers with their young love and it seems like the couple has finally taken the next big step. This is quite the change for Johnny Depp who, just a few years ago, ended a 14 year relationship with his ex, Vanessa Paradis. Depp has two children with the French model. Amber Heard, previously attached to Leonardo DiCaprio, started dating the savvy megastar in 2013.

So while their movies begin to take over the Hollywood box office, with “Transcendence” arriving soon and “3 Days To Kill” (starring Heard) showing up not too long afterward, the megastars will no doubt be taking over the gossip column with their steamy and swank relationship. Knowing the way that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard love to present themselves, we have no doubts that their wedding will be something truly memorable.
