Zoe Saldana & Marco Perego’s Red Carpet Debut

Saldana and Perego kept their wedding a well-kept secret, and most people were not even aware of it until Zoe revealed the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live in December. But it was still sometime before the couple made their first red carpet appearance together. They showed up to the AOL NewFronts Event at Duggal Greenhouse in New York on April 29th.

Zoe was speaking at the event to talk about the new show she is producing, “My Hero.” The couple seemed very happy and affectionate with one another.

Not many people know this Marco Perego, but the Italian born, New York artist has traveled quite the journey to get where he is today. Since first arriving in America, practically broke and doing odd jobs, he has since established himself as a very innovative and risky artist. His most controversial piece was a sculpture he did of Amy Winehouse, only days after her death, entitled, “The Only Good Rockstar is a Dead Rockstar.”

Italian artists have long carried a reputation for being passionate and eccentric. We might think this is true by the photos of Marco continuously making out with Zoe in LAX airport and his odd habit of wrapping loads of bracelets up his arms.
