Popular television star Matt Bomer just dropped a major bombshell in a brand new interview courtesy of Details magazine — he’s been married for three whole years! Fans of his popular USA network program “White Collar” might be a bit disappointed to hear that the dashing star wed love Simon Halls all the way back in 2011. Much to the likely dismay of many eager fans, he’s no longer on the market. The marriage took place roughly one year before Bomer officially came out to the public as a gay man.

Bomer came out in February 2012 at a charity event, specifically the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards. In doing so, he acknowledged partner Halls, revealing his thanks to their strong relationship. At the time, the public was unaware that the two were actually married. Bomer’s announcement wasn’t exactly a shocking revelation to many, however. The actor never really tried all that hard to conceal his personal involvement with Halls.

Although it hasn’t been public knowledge that Bomer and Halls tied the knot until now, the pair have a famously committed relationship, complete with children together. They are the parents of three young sons. Kit is 8 years-old, and Henry and Walker are 6 year-old twins. The children were all born through the assistance of surrogacy.

Bomer and Halls have been in a long-term relationship for quite a bit of time. They initially started dating in 2008. While Halls isn’t an actor as his more famous husband is, he works in the entertainment field as a public relations professional. Bomer actually met Halls because he worked as his very own publicist. Halls currently works for a firm called Slate PR, which is run out of Los Angeles, California. He previously worked at PMK/HBH Public Relations.

Although the most ardent Bomer enthusiasts might be a little sad to hear that one of their favorite dark-haired Hollywood hunks is happily wed and unavailable, they surely wish the couple a lifetime of wedded bliss, too.
