2) He Played Cops on TV but is a Murderer in Real Life: Michael Jace

In May 2014, Michael Jace reportedly called 911 to inform them that he had shot his wife April in their Los Angeles home. When police arrived on the scene, they discovered that April, 40, had died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds. Sadly, the couple’s two children were in the home at the time of the murder.

According to the LAPD, the motive for the murder is suspected to be domestic violence. Jace had also been accused of domestic violence against his first wife, Jennifer Bitterman during a custody hearing in 2005 regarding their young son.

Jace is best known for playing the part of Julien Lowe, a Los Angeles police officer on the FX television show, “The Shield.” The 51-year-old actor also had parts in a number of movie and television shows, including “The Replacements,” “Forrest Gump,” “The Mentalist” and “Southland.” As of this writing, the actor has been charged with the murder, but had not yet gone to trial.
