One of this year’s hottest leading ladies is opening up about her femme fatale roles in the June issue of Glamour. Natalie Dormer is famous for playing wicked women like Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones, Jamie Moriarty in Elementary and Anne Boleyn in The Tudors, but the star reveals that she is neither as confident nor as predatory as the roles she plays. In fact, she claims to be a bit shy and says that, as far as dating goes, she is a serial monogamist.

Dormer certainly doesn’t appear to be the love ‘em and leave ‘em type. The star met her fiancé, Irish director Anthony Byrne, in Dublin in 2007 while filming the Tudors. Though the pair has been engaged since 2011 there aren’t any wedding plans just yet due to busy schedules and her blossoming career.

In the interview Dormer even goes as far as to admit that she was nervous before her Game of Thrones audition and that she often has to fake the confidence that her characters exude.

Claiming to be shy and getting nervous before auditions isn’t the only surprising thing Dormer reveals in the Glamour interview. The spread features photos showcasing the star’s half-shaved head. Dormer, who is set to appear in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay this October as Cressida, is currently shooting scenes for the final installment of the series. According to Dormer, she wanted to be true to the books on which the films are based. Since the books describe the character with a half-shaved head with tattoos, the star took the plunge.

Talking about her edgy new hairstyle, Dormer says that she was surprised at how much identity and feminine sense of beauty is held in the hair. She’s embraced the look by taking more chances with fashion and clothes.
