3) John Lennon And Yoko Ono

In one of the best publicized celebrity drug busts, John Lennon and Yoko Ono were arrested for drug possession, as well as attempting to obstruct the police while they were in the midst of carrying out a search warrant. John had already been tipped off by the media and, as such, had attempted to completely wipe the house of drugs. Apparently, he wasn’t quite thorough enough, as the cops found hashish in a cigarette case and an unsealed brown envelope. These drug charges later came close to serving as John’s undoing, as President Nixon cited them as reason enough for deportation from the United States.
