We are indeed all ‘Born To Die’ and Lana has apparently realized that life isn’t about the destination, it’s about the journey.

As Lana’s sophomore record “Ultraviolance” is released, she’s been giving a lot of interviews and they’ve been a bit provocative, to say the least.

First was there was the “feminism is not an interesting concept” interview she did with FADER.

She then told Clash she considers quitting music every day saying “It’s still not really worth all the bullshit”.

Now, the Guardian posts their piece on LDR, which opens with the singer saying, “I wish I was dead already.”

“I don’t want to have to keep doing this. But I am,” she said. When asked what ‘this’ referred to, music or maybe publicity, the singer replied, “Everything. That’s just how I feel. If it wasn’t that way, then I wouldn’t say it. I would be scared if I knew death was coming, but …”

Recently, however, Lana has found something (or someone) to live for, after all. She has recently split from her rocker BF of a few years, Barrie-James O’Neill and while Barrie is struggling with his denial saying “It’s not over, it’s not over”, Lana is moving on. She’s been caught dating a sexy “Vogue” photographer Francesco Carrozzini, 31, in both Los Angeles and New York. Snap!

Their romance seems to be in full bloom at the moment: “She came off her tour to see him in New York. Even his ex, Katherine Keating, knows they’re a couple,” the source said.

In a recent interview she admitted she struggles being single: “It’s so hard to be alone. I think you know in the back of your mind when you meet someone that could be the right person. I think you know. It’s rare. When you’re an introvert like me and you’ve been lonely for a while, and then you find someone who understands you, you become really attached to them. It’s a real release.”

Lana Del Rey an introvert? Hmmm… Interesting.
