Matt Bellamy On His Split From Kate Hudson – ‘It’s For The Best’

Matt Bellamy and Kate Hudson have recently ended their relationship and Matt has finally broken his silence. The “Muse” frontman decided to use Twitter in order to address the recent turn of event, as well as to thank his fans on their support.

After the official announcement from their reps that Matt and Kate are no longer engaged, the musician remained silent for quite a while, but now he appears to have to terms with the situation and said that it was for the best.

“Love all of you guys! We’re both very happy, it’s for the best. Thanks for your kind words. Now about that new album…” he wrote.

As for Kate, the actress has recently been seen out and about and without her engagement ring.

The 35-years-old star enjoyed a night out at a friends’ house in Los Angeles and it appears that she also made peace with the broken engagement.

Committed Co-Parents

Matt and Kate had been engaged since April 2011 and have a three-year-old son Bingham Hawn Bellamy together, however the former couple shocked their fans when they announced their split on Monday when the representative confirmed the rumors.

“Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now. Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents.”
