Laverne Cox Has A New Boyfriend

Starring in a TV show about a women’s jail doesn’t mean you have to swear off men! The latest proof of that comes from Laverne Cox, who showed up on the SAG Awards with a brand new boyfriend on her arm.

The “Orange Is the New Black” star debuted her new relationship with Jono Freedrix on Saturday in Los Angeles when she arrived on the prestigious event along with some other co-stars from the show.

The fresh couple sat at the table with Laverne castmates, where they cozied up and shared a few shy smiles and smooches. However, it wasn’t until later that they really put on their love gloves.

A source told Us Weekly that Cox and Freedrix “packed on the PDA” during the Netflix afterparty at the Weinstein Company the same evening. Apparently, Jono “playfully slap her a**,” while Laverne had “so much fun, she split her pants dancing!”

Although this is the first time these two were seen together in public, the Cox-Freedrix combo has been going strong since 2014.
