5) Al Pacino

Smooth and suave as Michael Corleone in The Godfather, Al Pacino was viewed as one of the classically handsome men in Hollywood when he hit the big time in the 1970s. He spent most of his career playing mobsters, cops, and others occupying one extreme of the law or another. Pacino’s dark good looks even won him an Oscar in 1992 for his portrayal of an older blind man in Scent of a Woman. Dog Day Afternoon, …And Justice for All, and Serpico all shined as cinema classics, mostly due to his ability to smoothly portray both sides of the legal system.

Sadly, the handsome mobster of the last century has turned into a wrinkled and grizzled parody of himself, sporting an inappropriate goatee and overgrown hair that constantly needs styling. That constant leather coat might have looked cool in his Godfather days, but he should have retired it decades ago, along with the gold chains.
