People lost all hope for true love when Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their imminent divorce last month, but now Kristen Bell is opening up about the soon-to-be-ex couple with new comments that are helping us understand just how tough it is to be a Hollywood power-couple.

Pratt and Faris recently announced their unfortunate plans to divorce after eight years of marriage with a joint statement that stated how they will always have “love for each other” and that their son will remain having two parents who love him very much.

“We still have love for each other, we will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another,” their statement concluded.

Actress and a good friend of the couple in question, Kristen Bell, recently talked about their break-up and explained that people tend to oversee many aspects of what it means to be married in Hollywood.

“I think there’s a little bit of lack of acknowledgment about really loving something that was,” Bell told E! News. “If there are two people that decide not to be together, it shouldn’t really be a heartbreak for everyone.”

“You should say, ‘Oh, they tried. But that doesn’t discount the lovely years they had together.’ If I ever get divorced, I’m still going to be like, ’Wow, I loved being married to that man,’” the actress added.

It’s All About The Separation Due To Working In The Industry

Kristen didn’t blame Hollywood blatantly, but did mention that being separated for longer periods of time and going far away to shoot a movie can indeed take its toll.

“I don’t necessarily know that it’s ‘Hollywood’ that gets in the way. The reality is when you’re working in this industry you’re sometimes shooting a movie in China for four months. You’re away from your family for four months.”

“I think it’s more the separation than anything that can weigh on people.”

It sure is tough. But we ordinary people can just guess…
