In her nearly two-year engagement Angelina Jolie has been almost completely silent about her upcoming wedding to Brad Pitt. That all changes in next week’s People magazine, set to hit newsstands on Friday. The magazine features an in-depth interview with the Maleficent actress in which she reveals a few hints about what the wedding might be like.

So, will it be an over-the-top affair? Maybe, but it will certainly be family friendly. Jolie reveals to the magazine that the pair’s five children will play in big hand in planning the celebration. In fact she says that in a very real way they will be the wedding planners. What does a wedding planned by a houseful of kids under the age of 13 look like? The star says that the themes range from Disney to paintball and that, though they know how to put together a fun time, their ideas are anything but traditional.

Don’t get too excited about the much-anticipated wedding just yet though. There’s still no date set. Jolie says they aren’t in any rush and want to wait for a time that feels right for the kids and their busy work schedules.

When they aren’t busy planning their parent’s wedding some of the Jolie-Pitt children have been heading to work with Mom. Vivienne (5) has a speaking role in Maleficent, which opens later this month. Pax (8) and Zahara (7) will also make brief appearances in the film.

The typically private star also gets personal about her relationship with Pitt saying that they have a shared history together and that the children have made them a family.

The upcoming wedding and her love life are just the tips of the iceberg of what the star talks about in the interview. She also discusses her health and the controversial double mastectomy she had last year saying that she has no regrets and that she now feels more connected to other women.
