Lily Allen has recently opened up about the devastating stillbirth of her son. The brave star got really emotional during her appearance on “The Jonathan Ross Show” this week while she talked about one of the worst experiences of her life.

The Most Unfortunate Thing

The 29-years-old singer said that losing her baby boy six months into her pregnancy was by far the most unfortunate thing that can happen to a person.

“I think it’s difficult for anybody regardless of what world they live in, and actually what I took home from that experience was…” Allen said during the show.

The star was thankful to her husband for being supportive throughout the ordeal and stated that she’s trying to move on and “count her blessings.”

“Even though it was the most unfortunate thing that can ever happen to a person, I was fortunate in the sense that I have a loving partner to go home to and share that experience with. There are many women – 17 stillbirths in the UK everyday – that go home and they don’t have that support, they have to go home and deal with that on their own.”

“So I am kind of in a bit of a – since that happened – in a ‘count my blessings’ scenario rather than feeling sorry for myself.”

Lily would Love a Boy

Lilly and builder Sam have been married for two years now and they have two beautiful daughters Ethel (2), and Marnie (1), however, the couple stated they would love a reinforcement.

I’d love a boy. And I’d also like another girl just so I can call her Auxiliary Jane… or Pizza. I quite like Pizza for a kid, or Mega Lolz, that would be good. Megan Lolz,” joked Lilly.
