Cameron Diaz & Benji Madden Engagement – ‘Benji’s Friends Are Happy For Him’

People magazine confirmed that one of the Hollywood’s hottest couples, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, is engaged to be married and is apparently set to tie the knot, despite their whirlwind relationship which began in May this year.

Happy for him

A source close to the Good Charlotte rocker stated that all of his friends and family had been notified and that they couldn’t be happier for their love.

“It happened a few nights ago,” Benji’s friend said about the proposal. “All of Benji’s friends are aware and happy for him.”

The rumors have been mounting for weeks, especially after Cameron was spotted wearing what looked like an engagement ring when the two were seen and photographed at JFK airport several days ago.

Cameron’s advice

The 42-year-old actress has recently spoken to Cosmopolitan magazine and she apparently had some useful tips about love for all the lovebirds out there.

“If you get into a relationship where you want something the guy doesn’t want, it’s never gonna work. Timing is everything,” said the actress, and added: “You’re never going to get him to be in that place. No matter how old you are, finding the guy who’s in the same place as you are and wants to show up is the only way a relationship works, period.”

Some rumors also say that the two have already chosen a date in early 2015 for their wedding, however, this is yet to be confirmed.
