In her latest interview for the “Complex” magazine Lana tries to glamorize everything she stands for and to criticize everything she thinks is wrong with the industry, and in the end, of course, the inevitable topic was – sex.

However, her plan fails miserably as it backfires, only to make herself look bad.

In the interview, Lana says to have slept with “a lot” of guys from the music industry, making a reference to one of her own songs from her brand new album “Ultraviolence”, and the song is graphically called “F–ed My Way to the Top.”

“… You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry, but none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying,” the singer admitted.

Since it is a well-known fact that Lana writes most of the songs on her albums, as she began her career as a songwriter before signing her first record deal, it’s only natural to assume that many of her songs come from her own experiences. Right?

We also noticed that Lana tends to be a bit unclear and bipolar lately. Namely, in the same interview she made some contradictory comments on her coping with popularity.

In the earlier part of the interview she said she doesn’t really care anymore and that she kind of went numb.

“The good thing about catching so much grief from critics is that you literally do not f–king care.”

Later in the interview, however, she said something a bit different. “Because that gold and platinum record stuff, it doesn’t mean as much if you’re walking down the street and you can hear people saying things about you. That doesn’t even out.”

So, either you care about what others think of you, or you don’t. Whatever the case is, Lana sure keeps on surprising us with her statements lately, and we’ll be here, waiting for more.
